Is facial ultrasound the same as HIFU lifting?

No. Ultrasound devices can differ greatly in how they deliver energy and what they are intended to do. The device, frequency, energy delivery, intended tissue target, and treatment goal have to be identified before comparing it with HIFU.

“Ultrasound” does not describe one single treatment

HIFU uses focused ultrasound; a treatment described as soothing ultrasound is not automatically a lifting equivalent. Ask which device is being used and why it suits your concern. The word ultrasound alone does not establish its depth, benefits, or safety for you.
