I have persistent bumps around my mouth. Should I use acne treatment?

Not every mouth-area eruption is acne. I would want to know what you apply there, including any steroid cream, and whether it burns or itches. Because several conditions can resemble acne in that area, adding stronger acne treatment without assessment can make the picture more confusing.

If it persists, have it assessed rather than keep adding acne products. Do not change a prescribed cream without speaking with the prescriber.
